Had the Jon B crew out on Saturday for the first trip of the year. We caught 3 keeper stripers and 1 short in the bay fishing clams action was average for this time of year with a bite every 20 minutes or so. After which we trolled the ocean for bass for about and hour and with no action we decided to switch up to tog and found them chewing! With the last of our clams it was drop and reel fishing we caught 12 keepers from 15- 18 inches and about 25 shorts before heading in.
