Was out today for about an hour hoping for blowfish by the 42# ICW. We were equipped with clam and chum logs. Dropped it down and immediately got hits. Finally got something and not so sure what it was. It was white, round, and had sharp fins. Pretty sure it was a white perch though. Well whatever it was we got about five and one blowfish. It was choppy and cold so around one we decided to pack it in. Oh well. We'll get 'em next time!

Definately wasn't a spot or croaker. No spot and didn't croak. The fish were also thin and fought hard. I'll check on porgie.

Sounds like porgies Joey, they fight real good for their size and the dorsal fin has stiff, sharp spines. Good eating too.

My vote goes to Porgy (Scup). Aggressive little fish, put on a good but short fight

If those little guys ever got to thirty pounds no one would fish for tuna...could you imagine the fight!

That would be one heck of a fight! You would think you just broke the record for a blue marlin!
