Thanks guys. 5.42 and 3.48 pounds. Was good to finally have fluke coming over the rails first instead of sea bass and ling. Actually had no ling this trip but did have a couple of bergals.

Yes on the bucktail...no teaser though. Was just using a tap dancer rig. I was using a 2 ounce bucktail in chartreuse and white and the other guys were using either all white bucktails or chart/white or white ball jigs on tap dancer rigs.

Joe...what exactly is a "tap dancer" rig?

Main line connects to a swivel, from there you have a 4-10" dropper (I usually use 4"-6") to which you attach your bucktail or ball jig, also attached to swivel is a 24"-48" leader with your choice of hook (I go shorter inside and longer outside, bigger the bait the longer I go outside). I use either a 3/0 or 5/0 baitholder hook. You can use a small 3-way swivel (what I use most of the time) or a barrel swivel.

On the bucktail I use either Gulp shrimp, jerk shads, spearing or peanut bunker. On the plain hook either spearing, peanuts, whole squid or squid head.

I will tie one up and take a picture and post it up later.
