Putt in a shipping claim or refuse to pay,
You should be able to get enough of a refund to at least cover the cost of the repair if you complain hard enough,
I always buy anything I’m having shipped with a credit card then just put in a fraud claim and refuse to pay until it’s resolved when something like that happens, , they may try to screw you but can’t fight the bank that holds their credit card account, it usually properly motivates vendors to remediate the issue
