After 17.5 years I was laid off last Friday from my full time job, oh well now I have more time to guide  during the week. Late during the week I ran a weakfish trip and boated close to 30 weaks while chumming. All fish were keepers with the biggest going 24”. Saturday I had a late minute cancellation so I went out and did some fluking by myself. In two hours I boated 18 fluke with all being shorts. One fish I just had to measure because it was so small @ 8”.

With some free time on my hands I am thinking about doing open weakfish chumming trips so contact me if interested as I am trying to determine how much interest there may be.

I have been down that road and something better will come along. Keep you chin up and spend some more time on the water and with you family while you can.

Look on the bright side, it could be winter and you'd be stuck working out all day while playing the latest video games you just bought for yourself...I mean the kids. Since it is summertime you get to spend some extra time on the water while job searching. Did you really try to convince your wife that you were going on an interview by boat with fishing rods in hand? (kidding of course)

Sometimes things work out better than expexted. Keep your eyes open, you might just find a better position than you ever imagined.
