are the jumbos the ones with the spinner blades? if so did anyone ever pull one of them besides me? no fun on wire line, better off running it on a 130# setup.

Was on a buddies boat last fall pulling them and we had a double header of 30" and tripple of 28-30" bass. Thought we had two 55 gallon drums coming up.

But they do catch fish.

Don't recall if they had spinners but they were 9" shad rigs, those rigs stand over 2-3 feet tall on the deck, things are huge.

i had the one with spinners, used it once and went home and cut the blades off, with one 20lb bass on you coudnt reel in in, first time we ever backed down on a bass

The drag on those things must be enormous. I troll at 2 knots, use the 9er with tubes on the inside, 6" shads on the ends, on 9' Seeker rods, and the drag is bad enough. It must take broomstick handles to troll those guys with all shads.
