Very nice fish,so very close to the magic number. Still waiting for my turn.

Ron - Yeah...our radio went this weekend so I wasn't able to call out to you. We were in 25 feet of water in the middle of the channel...that fog helped keep the boat traffic down which always helps.

I fished fri and quit at 9am. very cold water and then rain. Decided not to fish sat. Odds are i'll make a correct decision sooner or later!!

water temp was below 60 in the bay saturday

Really, it was that cold. I was in the Toms River Sunday afternoon and it was 78.

yeah...at the top of the tide...we read 54 degrees in the bay...about 1.5 miles from inlet.

We had 58-59 in the inlet and lower part of the Manasquan River when returning Saturday afternoon. Probably from all the rain run-off from the day before.

This was cold ocean water Joe. Fri i had low 70's at the mouth of the Mullica dead low tide and low 60's at the stink house.

yeah...the ocean cooled down dramatically over the last week...
