Happy Thanksgiving to all enjoy the Holiday ! We fished an open boat trip on 11/26/13 with Tom, Donna, Ed, John and Jack. We headed north to the CG Station and found a little bird play. The troll bite was good for us we had our first bite on a shad rig we lost this one at the boat. The next one was on a shad rig and Donna did a great job cranking this one in. We worked the 45 foot depth all morning and caught some of our biggest fish of the fall 42” 33lb fish was the best of the day that John caught, and others were 30lbs nice solid fish. We picked away and at 10:30 we had 11 fish and released 6 shorts a few of these were just 28“. We stopped and bait fished on a few readings and added two fish to our catch. Dirty water, the bright colors worked better today we switched out of the dark tube rigs to shad rigs and spoons. At 11:00 we decided to head in to beat the rain and get things cleaned up. We finished our day with 13 Keepers and 6 shorts Pics on Facebook and Web Site
