We fished with Mike, Sam and Megan last Friday. We fished the Wilmington canyon , we arrived at first light and started on the east side, we found plenty of weeds there we were clearing lines continuously the entire day. We did get our first bite on a spreader bar at 8:30 and Sam landed a 70 lb Yellowfin. Our next bite came on a jigged bait behind the bar and Megan was up and was "all in" she fought the fish to the boat . There was no handing the rod over in her mind her First Tuna and she did a great job on it ! We continued working the whales and clearing lines Megans tuna bite was our last. Later we stopped on a larger weed patch and pulled some Mahi off it. Picture of 2 of the larger ones back at the dock on the website and FB.
