We fished with John Luskin and friends Wednesday 6/10 . We were able to effectively drift the wrecks due to light winds and current. Our first stop was the best we picked away at decent size sea bass caught 1 cod and a few ling also.
The surprise of the day was when reeling in a Sea Bass it took off all of a sudden and started pulling hard. As it got closer to the boat we realized about a 4 foot Mako was on the Sea Bass. We rigged a bait up on a larger rod and baited it up got it hooked up and boatside with no fight at all, Definitely caught us off guard pulled the hook just as well.
We made a few other stops on some nearby wrecks and finished up keeping just over 70 fish and releasing plenty.
