We fished today with Dave Armstrong the 1st 2nd and 3rd today and their friends Dominic and Joe. We had a boat load of 1st time Striper fisherman. The morning started out slow for us and the first bite came about 9 am on a spoon . The first run was a good one, 13 yr old Dave the 3rd was up . He did a great job getting the wire back on the reel. He toughed it out cranking it to the boat . We were surprised to see this 49" fish hit the deck ,he made it look easy. The good thing about most kids is they listen! We worked hard for our bites today and finished out with 5 fish the first one being the biggest. I was very happy with the results today hopefully it continues for us. Our bites came on Shads and Spoons today. We are fishing tomorrow stay tuned .

Nice job guys, heard of a few other fish caught on spoons and some worked hard all day but never hooked up. Going clamming in the bay tomorrow and outside in a few days. Glad you guys had some hit the deck.
