Well, the fine flounder fishing continued right through the weekend, and the bass bite is starting to pick up. We had four trips over the past week, and saw double digit catches of flounder from the BI-BB area. Each day, we also spent a couple of hours on the hook in search of bass, and while the bite wasn't hot we were rewarded with our first couple of keepers for the year up to 31". With the arrival of the bluefish yesterday, our flounder days are numbered so if you're looking to put a few more of these tasty flatfish in the freezer you'd better get out there right away.

We'll be switching over to bass and blues this week, and hopefully start seeing a few weakies mixed in.
