Fishing for the past few days has been on the plus side of excellent. On yesterday's trip, my party included a twelve year old so we stayed in the bay and soaked clams to load the box with bass up to 24 pounds. Today we ran up the beach past the wheel, where my party limited out on bass to 41 pounds before switching over to catch and release until their arms could take no more. Smallest bass of the day weighed in at a svelte 25+ pounds, and looked like a baby compared to the other fish we saw. Love this time of year!
