Headed out to the tires for some fluke and had to work hard as there was hardly any drift. Found a pocket that produced only shorts so made a few moves and finally put 4 keepers in the box that were 22"-24".

I was able to attract one nice fat 22 1/2" flattie in front of the coast guard station in @ 35' of water on sunday morning, spent about 2 1/2 hours out there. used a 4" gulp shrimp natural color on a 3/4oz jig head. no drift to speak of and was very near a wreck off of the station. a beautiful day to be on the water.

The tournament this weekend should be interesting. Lets hope we all weigh in some big fish, I know I will have to work extra hard to find some fatties.
