We might have dodged a bullet this morning as far as the rain is concerned but later on in the day we're not going to be so lucky. Fluke fishing in IBSP continues to be steady with anglers not only taking advantage of the 2 fish at 16" but coming up with some 4 plus lb. fish in the mix. Some blues here and there with word of a few snappers also showing up. Crabbing is coming into it's own with nice catches off our dock and rental boats... John Yac

what is with the 2 fish at 16. is that just for IBSP or is it everywhere

My understanding is: Last year it was just one (1) under 18" but at least 16" @ IBSP only. Now, if I'm correct it’s anywhere on Jersey coast as long as you are fishing from shore; feet on terra firma !

IBSP guy who fish LAND ONLY can keep 2 @16" and have to be checked at the tent by the gatehouse. It is for IBSP only and what I think is funny is I can drive in, launch my kayak from A21, but have to follow the 5@18" rules. Not that I would keep a 16" fluke anyway.
