The surf remains a mixed bag of short and keeper bass, not a ton but some nice fish never the less. The anglers that are scoring are doing so under the cover of darkness. Just because you are fishing at night is still no guarantee you will hook a keeper bass. The right lure, with the right presentation, in the right location, is the key to success. As far as lures go, no matter what your go to is you should have a teaser out front. This set up will definitely increase your hook ups this time of year.
