hey george...when my computer "crashed" i lost just about all my pics...with that...

do it like this...

bore the hole, using a hole saw larger than the pvc pipe...bore the hole, clean it up,make sure the core isn't wet,and tape the inside...mix up some west system,i mix 403 adhesive ...fill the holse with it...allow it to kick...then,drill the correct size hole for the tube in it...put a littl grease inside the tube, wet the outer edge of tube with some more west system and 403 mix,and put it in...let it all kick, trim it with a grinder and you're ready to install the garboard...

this only works for a new transom install...if the garboard has been installed as some mfg's do it,just bore a hole and put the garboard in-hole right through the wood core, that's the way grady white does it...if you're doing this on an older hull,i wouldn't reccomend it...
