Greetings -- I was up in the Catskills for a few days-- I fished an afternoon session in a walk in spot not far from the junction of the east and west branch, fish were rising in some shallow fast fishy looking water-- we were blessed-- 23 inch rainbow and a bunch of browns, biggest being over 18" A real good couple of hours, a burger and a beer at the local pub,a little sleep, next morning we were loading gear on the drift boat at 0800, the wind was pushing us up stream, it was bad-- our guide, Larry had his hands full and some sore shoulders- we got trout on dry flies and nymphs we fished till dark had a great day on the big D--The boat is ready! and I'll probably dump this week, but I'll be heading back up to the Catskills on the 5th for a few days with the family, fishing and relaxing CATCHEMUP
