Description

AM Bass off Lavalette Beach early AM on Bunker.

No thong available so I used size 11 DockSider for scale.

Don't believe I'll get a 1000 hits using a shoe :-)

Hey Joe-

I've seen that episode on "trolling flip-flops" or maybe read in SaltWater Sportsman.

Given the odor coming out of my docksiders (since only used when fishing) they certainly at least smell like bunker :-)

Still want to try a Coors light can (popper) this summer when the bluefish are hitting everything.

Maybe you stumbled up the secret Gulp! ingredient...bunker flavored docksiders! waver

It was Saltwater Sportsman. I might have to try the Coors Light can as well...sounds like something that would get a good laugh in our marina.

It was 'Eau de Sneaker' 'You never want to come between an angler and his trusty deck shoes. Really.'

Read it, thought of this post and laughed for about 10 minutes.

Amen to that Joe !

My wife makes me leave them outside even the garage following a trip (need to dry out for a day or two).

Will have to read the article, but as you said sounds very true :-)

That shoe looks a little "ripe". I know my docksiders (with the holes in the soles) are. I actually had a pair that my wife threw out 4 times because I kept fishing them out of the trash. You see they were the cause of a 2 car garage stinking, not bait. Nice fish though.
