Description
Left the dock solo at 3:30pm...Was going to out and do some wreck fishing....When I hit the bay at 3:45pm the wind was wipping strong out of the SE...So I decided to stay in the bay....Got the boat anchored up and fished for about an 1:45 minutes...Got about 15 big keepers, blowfish, and a dozen throw backs...Would have stayed longer but the seabass moved in and wouldn't let the blowfish bite...Pulled anchor and headed for the barn...Thanks Griff164 for helping me clean the fish....

And My TELEPHONE was on all day too. Some of the Blows are narrower then the marks on the cooler. Sure they are keepers?

Those marks are the number of beers I drank while I was out....Only allowed 10...That's why I was covering the marks up..Also didn't put all the fish up as you didn't notice Joe..

We noticed last week when the sea bass came in if you switched bait from clam to squid you would get the blowfish bite back. Then the sea bass would key in the squid. When you switched back to clam the blowfish came back in...worked out pretty good for us at least.

You're welcome. Not sure if it was coincidence or if it really works...but it worked for us. Could have been beginners luck since it was both mine and Tommy's first trip for them.

Was going to try squid but it was getting late, 5:30pm, and the wind was howling like 25 knots figured it was time to pull up the anchors and hit the barn....If that's what worked for you with the squid keep doing it....Good Luck..

I chummed with clam and baited with squid today. Worked like a charm. 5 gallon bucket in 2 hours.
