Late report, but headed out to deeper water structure Thursday and had to stop at 11:45 with my limit.

WOW! Now that IS deep...! Would never have thought they were that far out already...The fluke seem to be everywhere as far as the reports go from this site...I was on the hunt inside and outside BI from 8am - 5pm last Friday with one keeper to show for it, releasing at least 20 shorts...it's true that sometimes you eat the fish - and sometimes the fish just eat your bait!!! smile Did the GNS produced those fat boys? There haven't been too many good reports as far as I know from there...

Thanks for the depth...I didnt want to ask. Im not a wiz bang fluke fisherman. I wouldnt have ever gone that deep.

I wasn't doing well last time in the 50-60 ft depths, the water seemed green. Ran out a little and the water was much cleaner. I did get 4 more the next day too, just couldn't get that last one before I couldn't hold bottom anymore with 12oz. I really think water clarity has a lot to do with the bite. The fish might be in closer, but if they can't see the bait, you go right by them.
