Description
Ran to the Hudson overnight Thursday and Fri. Nothing to show for through the night but at first light I hooked up on the jig. Hung around for a while then left the fleet and headed to the deep all by ourselves with dolphins and skipjacks. There we had tuna under the boat for hours...mananged 3 trying everything to catch them. They were really line shy even whith 30lb fluorocarbon. They were eating every chunk, except for the ones that were on our lines. We were hiding the hooks in the butter fish heads chunks only and we picked up three that way and pulled the hook on one and broke off a jig on another. at night Picked up 2 more losing another. .. left at 7 going 6 for 9

Great job, they are out there and very shy but if you work at it you'll get them!
