Walt and I were invited to fish on a buddys boat that is docked up by the rt 37 bridge so it was an easy decision to head north thru the bay and canal and out Manasquan inlet. We headed up to just south of Long Branch and dropped in the Maja spoons and Mojos. Within 5 minutes the #4 green Maja spoon starts singing and Walt lands a nice fat 43" bass.We ended up catching around 12 or 13 bass from 38" to 45". We kept our limit of 6 bass and released the rest. Spoons slightly outfished the mojos today. White, green and chartreuse were the hot colors today.
