Let me tell you.. These guys have been around all summer and are real nasty. Especially if you are on a jetski/waverunner/paddle boat or Kayak. They come right after you in attack mode. Stay away and don't feed them.

They've been hanging around the marina all summer, and BK is right they can be nasty.

I have family that has been near my house all summer (Mom, Pop, 2 babies and one baby missing a foot). They go house to house getting free meals in Bayville. They hiss at the dogs and the dogs bark. Kids love to see them.

Yea, one came up onto the dock at my marina last year after my Lab looked at it in the water and chased and hissed at him. My lab is a wussy..

We have them in the lagoon all season long. At times mostly in the winter I have seen what looked like hundreds of them in the Forked River up by the Elks Club..

We have dozens of them up by me all year long. In early spring, late fall and all winter anytime you go up and down the dock or on the boat they come over and beg and get nasty when you don't feed them. Makes fueling up a real chore as they try and peck at your hands holding the fuel nozzle. You have to sit there with the fuel nozzle in one hand and a garden hose in the other to keep them away.
