Beautiful fish Capt. You are really dialed in on wreck fishing. There is no better feeling than having a mad dog bite on a newly found peice. We will be on wreck recon this weekend if the weather allows us. Chad
You have no idea. They bite the crab and haul a$$ back into the wreck. For the first ten seconds you have an angler pulling a bent rod over his head and a tog with his nose pointed at the wreck swimming like heck. If you have never tog fished, jump on, its a blast. Its only gonna get better from here into the fall/winter

Mike is 100% right. Blackfish are the bulldogs of the ocean. That fish dug down for the wreck at first, then ran off the stern by 10 yards, did a quick jump at the boat the first time it came up, then sounded half way back to the bottom.
Couple that with being one of the best eating fish that swims, it is easy to see why it becomes an addiction.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Going to play catch and release on these guys until the bass show up. It's a shame there is nothing else we can fish for inshore right now.
