Description
Broke through BI at 8am with my son Brendan. Cut through a good head sea on my southerly route to Garden State North. My Albemarle 29XF handled the swell nicely at 23 kts. Worked the Northeast corner of the reef. Put a 20" and a 19" in the box on the first drift. Then dead sticked a 22" on a live mullet. Picked up a bunch of shorts and a few sea bass as well. Flew home in a following sea. Total of four fluke and 2 sea bass. I'm calling that a good day.....this year.

Capt Chaos,

We were out there as well and put our 3 man limit in the boat on Bucktails and Gulp.

Saw you out there Jeff. We were working the same drift for much of the day. Boats name is "Outnumbered" out of Barnegat. Congrats on the limit.

Nice catch! Anyone catching at Barnegat Light Reef, or are the fluke holding on the deeper wrecks instead?

Nice! Figured you must have been on the fish since you were out there a while Sunday. Tommy says great catch....
