Description
Some pics along the ICW the shoaling is real bad in this area, if you need to go thru here take the western channel stay out of the ICW its only a foot deep in some areas

That is unreal Mark. Where exactly is that? Is that just north of the strip or marsh along f cove leading into the Metedeconk? Or is that on the east side of Herring Island?

Joe its on the East side of Herring Island, we saw a big barge being put in position just off of the club house, dont know what they are going to do with it. The ICW or that channel on the East side of Herring Island is just about totally filled in so beware until they dredge it (if they do)

I haven't been on the east side in years. I used to like to flounder fish over there but one of the other storms filled in the muddy channel with sand a while back. Those barges might be the ones from the canal. They had moved them into the bay for the storm and I think they have been moving them in and out as they work because of the amount of debris flowing through the canal.
