Bret, son and 71yr old mom chartered overnight, we shoved of the dock around 12pm and had great ride out to the fishing grounds. About 10 miles short of destination we saw a huge piling in the water and picked up a nice size Mahi. We continued to the grounds once there we set out the spread we trolled for about 2hrs with no bites. So we set up for the night on the drift. We had first fish around 8am and pretty much some action every other hr or so until one rod went down and lost it. While clearing the other lines bret (mate) hook ups with other fish. The fish was fighting like a sword but when the fish came along side the boat Bret (mate) sunk the gaff in a 64 inch Wahoo!! At daylight on the chunk we had two runoffs losing both so we decided to set up on the troll and within couple minutes we had 2-3 Longfin at a time. And Bret’s moms reeled in a couple of fish- hats off to her - 71 yrs old and tuna fishing!! All in all – a good trip and great day on the water.
