Description
Guys,
Find the sand eels! Found them today, 3.5 miles off Belmar in blue 70* water and it was game on. Three Skip Jack and all the blues you want.[color:#FF0000] Trolled 5 knots all on light tackle, fire drills on every pass. Wore out at 10AM. Good luck!

Nice job, I think you caught bonito (much better eating than false albacore or skipjack). Have not seen them in a few years.

They are tasty, ate some for dinner. Skip jack or little tunny are also good to eat. These had that fat football shape.

These are bonito. The skip jack has stripes on the belly and darker meat.

Nice bonito! Good to see they are here. I have gotten them that close to Belmar and Point Pleasant in the past...as long as I had bluewater.
