BEAUTIFUL CALM DAY
TOOK COUSIN OUT FOR FIRST TIME AND PUT HIM IN MEYERS HOLE...WE DRIFTED NO MORE THE 50FT BACK AND FORTH LANDING
5 KEEP SEA ROBIN
7 18/19 FLOUNDER
3 BLUES
1 SHARK
4 BLOWFISH threw them back
1 12 SEABASS
IT WAS AMAZING FISH AFTER FISH AND NO BOATS IN THE WATER.

Anyone ever eat sea robin? Kept a couple saw how to filet just wondering the taste I'm going to expect? What about blowfish are they good!

On the Blow fish, leave backbone in, cook and bone just about falls out. I find the Sea Robbins tougher to filet/clean but they are fine eating. Gotta be big cause they are all head. So all you're eating is the tail. Enjoy !

I really thought someone said if you eat the wrong part of the blowfish it has poison.. The shark was a sand shark no more then 2 ft at most ..hit his line on minnow ...easy release back... Fisher Moose Captain Registered: 05/07/08 Posts: 741 Loc: Forked River, NJ	I have tried sea robin and its not bad. It's a bit difficult to fillet, so I usually only keep the really big ones. If the blowfish are decent sized, keep 'em. They are delicious. Look up the blowfish recipes on this site. _________________________ Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.
