Myself and Whack-N-Stack left the doc at 6 am headed toward the B buoy just about 2 miles before is were we set up and started the slick. Poles were in the water for less than an hour and one of the poles start screaming (furthest out in spread). About 20 minutes later we get our first look at what turned out to be a really nice fish. Well didn't last long she took another long run. All in all total fight time wasn't that bad we had her cleated in about 1 hour. Great day fishing but didn't expect to hit one of this size this time of year and that close. Although there is a lot of bait out there. The fork length was 83" and overall length was 12'10" and the estimated weight was about 325 lbs.
