2010 Year-Long Tournament Update - 04/15/10 10:30 PM

Fish are starting to show, make sure you are entered before the action really starts to heat up. So far we have: Jersey Joe, Angler Paul, Rudy2510, fishy5, Dick D, outta control, toggytime and njmikec1021. As we receive entries we update the Entrants List page so you can be sure your entry has been received.

Weigh slips have also started to come in. A 1.34 lb winter flounder! We should be seeing some striper weigh slips after this weekend. As the weigh slips come in the Leader Board will be updated.

Good luck!

We had some more weigh slips come in from the weekend. Check out the action on the Leader Board. And don't forget about the heaviest combined weight of five fluke category...we had a single weigh slip for fluke come in and I know Dan is kicking himself now for not weighing his other fish.

It has also come to our attention that a couple of the weigh stations don't have their own weigh slips. We just created a BFH Weigh Slip. It is not required but will make it easier on the shops that don't have slips. I will be mailing some out to the weigh stations this week or you can download and print the BFH Weigh Slip.

To see who you are competing against check out the Entrants List.

We are getting more and more weigh slips coming in. If you haven't entered the tournament it is not too late, you can still enter and win some great prizes as well as cash prizes at the end of the year. Tournament information page.

The May monthly prize for the largest weakfish was drawn out of a hat since no weakfish were weighed in during the month of May. Southern Charm has won the 4 hour boat rental donated by The Dock Outfitters .

The June monthly prize saw lots of competition and leader changes throughout the month. In the end Dick D took top honors winning two Tony Maja's custom bunker spoons donated by Fish Bonz Bait & Tackle with a 43.67 pound striped bass.

Congratulations to both Southern Charm and Dick D!

July's monthly prize is a fishermen's gift basket donated by Fisherman's Headquarters for the largest summer flounder caught in July, currently in the lead is a 6.15 lb fish caught by Lacey Marine (Dan).

Congratulations to toggytime for winning the August monthly prize, a Penn Silverado 5000 Reel donated by Lacey Marine.

We have also received a bunch more weigh slips, the leader board is changing almost every week now with bluefish and tuna being the two hot species lately.
