Upcoming tournaments

Folks,
I will begin working with our sponsors in the very near future to get a schedule up. I am only waiting for the FLW schedule. We don't want any conflicts for our members that fish other tours. As I stated at the dinner. We are hoping to have 3-4 tournaments this year.
They will be:
Spring Striper Tourny
Shark Tourny
Fluke Tourny
Fall Striper Tourny

Rules and dates will be posted as they are finalized. The biggest rule will be that you must be a member of this site to enter. Now that doesn't mean that eveyone on the boat has to be a member, but the team captain will be required to be a member.

I am sure we will continue with the year long Top Gun tourny. Hopefully we will have those rules and entry fee amounts posted shortly.

I am looking forward to a fun year.

Should we send you dates of know other tournaments like the Pt. Pleasant Elks, JCAA and JCSA so they too will not confilict? Or would weigh slips from other major tournaments be acceptable?

Glad to hear you are waiting for all the ASA and FLW dates this time..lol.

I am sure you will receive a lot of help from others as well as myself. I know there are a few members who are very good at planning events and can be very helpful to you.

im not a fan of weigh slips for our tourneys, weigh in at dock in front of members, so we all have our chops broken....

Tuna Club Tournaments are pretty big too. I can get the dates from my dad.

Mike- all of our tournys will have a weigh in by boat at the participating marina. We will probably have a variation of our shot gun start to curb cheating.

Brian- I am not only going to make sure to beat you in our site tournys, but I plan on beating you on your turf too. The ASA. LOL

if anyone needs a mate for the shark tourny let me know i never fished for sharks before and i would like to start fishing for sharks but im not gonna wrestle with a 150lb mako for the first time on my boat when my crew is all new to shark fishing. i am willing to pay for fuel or bait which ever you prefer hopefully someone has room for me.

The shark tournament should be interesting and I have to agree with Mike that we need to weigh in by boat. I think we have to look out for Mike in that tourney.

I posted the FLW info. We will have to try to team up this year. Is Nick going to fish both tours too?

i have no problem riding in a cat i just heard stories of people gaffing themselfes lol all kidding aside i want to shark fish i hope i can catch a ride

Jeff i think i'll talk to Tommy over her and see if we can do the shark thing here, He's got the hanging scale and fork truck, He probally would be intrested, he does alot for some of the other local tourneys.

Jeff why dont we get t-shirts made up we have aa family friend that can make up the shirts whatever money we get can go towards the dinner at the end of the year or it can go to the reef we can get the shirts made up for each tournament let me know what you think
