Entries for 2008 Tournament?

Are entries being accepted yet?

Nothing has been done to estaablish the 2008 tournament.

As soon as its announced I will send my entry fee..

May have something different a little later in the year.

It was a nice tournament and I would like it to continue.

Last year The Fluke Tournament was the first "offical" time myself and my Fishing Team (my Wife and 2 youngest Daughters)ever wished to join a tournament. Well not to make it a long post but My kids were up at 4am (ages 13 and 8 Girls) on the water ready to catch fish at 5am, lasted all day, with out complaining that I fish to long...
We didnt catch a keeper size Fluke BUT had a Great Family day and met a bunch of good people from here afterwards at the BBQ @ Sun Harbor Marina.
We NEED to do this again! I understand the "Official" type is a lot of work (Thanx again to Everyone who made it happen)
But maybe "we" can do a lil Family one this year UNofficial like
Get together, Just to have fun.

I would be happy to host it at our marina again......that is the only tournament that I fished last year!

Joe, that be great if we can all work something out, like I said even a easy "unofficial" one would be great.
Everyone put ur heads together and lets come up with ideas etc.
I really dont care about making it big prize $$$ Id love to do it more for fun.
Maybe a couple bucks a boat to buy food,etc Winning Boat gets all the bragging rights.
A nice day for all to come together with Family and Friends and enjoy the Sport we all love.

We can just do all on calcuttas, like I said earlier this year, one for blue one for bass one for sea robin, skate, you name it , it would be a lot of fun and everyone could have a great time. We should get to doing it more often, I propose, captains meetings friday night at sun harbour, since he volunteered, and have one day fish-offs. do it every couple of weeks, maybe the first friday of the month, this way nobody has to buy prizes or lay out money, what ever the calcuttas raise friday night is the individual amount you win on saturday, call it 5:00 back at the same place. Sun harbour gets to sell lots of bait, and we all get to fish, think of it like a neighborhood card game.

The Bass Tournament was the only tourny I've ever entered, and that was a lot of fun. Count me in as well, and would be happy to help out with some of the prep, cooking if BBQ, etc.
