Open boat trip 12/26 cancelled

Life of Riley, One more Drift, Just a Fluke, I have to cancel the trip. Fishing has been best 8-12 miles offshore recently, and with the current forecast there is no way to make this trip.

If you guys have another day that you are able to make it, let me know. Right now I am busy getting ready for Christmas like most of us, and will check the weather closely tomorrow afternoon and post possible open boat dates.

That was a smart move. I was going to do one more trip tomorrow onshore and decided to cancel it. Gale warnings tonight and NW WINDS 25 TO 30 KT WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 KT...DIMINISHING TO
20 TO 25 KT IN THE AFTERNOON. SEAS 4 TO 6 FT. makes no sense to try.

I am now looking at Wed., Yhu, or Friday...

The weather is just not giving us a break. Best fishing has been off the beach some and do not see a decent day before new years.

I might just haul the boat and get ready for spring.
