4/21 OPEN BOAT BLACKFISH REPORT

Tough trip today. We left at 6 30 traveling all over the ocean fishing depths from 60 to 85 feet. Lots of shorts kept us busy, but the keepers were few and far between.

We did manage to put 13 keepers in the boat to 5 pounds, and also released a few sea bass. The water temps were pretty cool today at 42 degrees. Hopefully the water warms up for next week. Full for next saturday, the 28th. Jt

Fished south of barnegat yesterday. 12 guys maybe 20 keepers

JT, It’s always a pleasure fishing with you and your crew. We actually did pretty good considering the conditions and water temperature. I think we had to bop the fish right on their heads with our sinkers to get them to bite but we managed to do okay. I’m looking forward to the next trip.

Had a great time. Thanks to Captain and crew for working so hard and putting in some extra time to put us on some fish. Beautiful day on the water and a great group to fish with.
