Fresh wax, paint and the boats back at the dock and ready to go. Took a short checkout ride this afternoon. Boat ran perfect but couldn't find a way thru Double Creek. New OCC seemed great, nice and wide with plenty of water except toward the west end.

Bob, you mean about DCC? I followed my gps tracks for the channel starting around what was the 28 can and couldn't quite reach the bend where it shoaled up last year. I think that was 26A, but I'm not sure. It was visibly shoaled up and I had to raise the engine just to back out.

OCC was great. About 5-6 feet deep at the west end, drops right off to double digits and it's an almost straight wide shot from 37 (I think) right to 29A. No more dog leg.

Cut by the inlet wide and clear. Doesn't seem to have shifted much from last year.

Didn't try DCC from the east end.

Jack
Watch out in the cut by the inlet. I ran it last weekend at 1hr before low tide. There was a new sandbar right in the middle of my track from last year. I didn't attempt to determine the depth. I charted a new route north of the new bar without an issue. Could have laid down a track south, too. I suspect some may ground on that new bar thinking it is still deep. Should be interesting.
