Picture perfect day! No weekend crowds, great surf conditions. Fluking in IBSP is steady and the inlets both north and south of us are also producing some nice fish. Buck tail gulp combos or live kellie squid combos are the best way to catch these tasty critters... John Yac

Went yesterday but made one BIG MISTAKE !! West wind & me w/o bug spray. Green heads early which isn't so bad as you can slap them & kill them. Later in the day the CARNIVOROUS BLACK FLIES show up. Had to leave; couldn't take it anymore. On top of that "NO" fish; not even a hit !

It is amazing how those little frigs can make it 3-5 mile out in the ocean...

We were swatting those black SOB's from 1:00 - 4 Monday. I did pack a can of deep woods off that seemed to fend off the lil be-arches somewhat...

crazy what else on this earth will hide somewhere until the conditions are perfect and when you least expect it,attacks and sucks the blood right out of you??my ex,greenheads and them mutated/radiated house flies!!a can of starting fluid and a bic lighter works great on all of them!!! shocked laugh waver
