Gas?

Wasn't there a forum on boats and another one for questions re: motors? I'm not sure where to ask questions about boats and motors , so I am asking here. I filled my gas tank before the boat was winterized. Are there any additives to be put in my tank when starting for the season? I have an outboard.

The Boating category, which includes, Boats, Motors and Electronics was partially recovered this evening.
Hopefully I'll be able to activate them tomorrowm sometime.

As far as you question goes, an octane boast couldn't hurt.

I put StarTron in with every fill up throughout the year and aslo add StaBil before storing for winter (for me Jan. & Feb.). I have had no water related, low octane related or general bad gas related issues with this practice in three years. There is a lot of opinions on what to do and to store full or empty but this is what works for me.

What did you put in it to stabilize over the winter?

We recommend to add Startron every time you get gas.
