Ist Annual Kids Crabbing Tournament - 07/24/09 03:07 PM
On August 15th, there will be a Kid's Crabbing Tournament. It will be for kids 12 and under, and it is $10 to enter. It will be at Sun Harbor Bay Club and you can obtain flyers, rules, and registration forms there. It will be from 8:00am until 2:00pm. Measure ins start at 2:00 pm and the last measure in is at 2:30pm. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize all based on the biggest crab. (Measured By Length) At 2:45pm the winners will be announced. After the winners are announced, kids will be allowed to get a hot dog, soda and a bag of chips. Additional hot dogs are $1.00. The prizes will be announced around the pool along with the food. You may NOT crab off of Sun Harbor Bay Club's front dock but you may crab off the Barnegat municipal dock or off a boat in the confines of Barnegat Bay. You May only use hand lines and two door traps. (No commercial Traps) Hope to see you there.
