Tournament results are in. http://www.garbagefish.com/2010leaderboardfinal.htm All species eclipsed last year's winners. Dogfish in particular with this year's winner beating last year's by 7 pounds. That's a big gap considering the state record is only 19 pounds.

Thanks to all bh webbers who fished or supported it including - Sean and USMC1, Jersey Joe and bhweb.com, Roger at Fish Bonz and Dan at Lacey Marine, and John from Dock Outfitters. The money we raised will go to purchasing thousands of seed clams for the bay. The more clams in our bay the cleaner the water. The cleaner the water, the better the fishing is. Those are some great prizes that were given out. Hopefully next year I can get out more

Just wondering... I'm an active member in RCTB... I also participated in this years garbagefish tournament and it was alot of fun... Thank you for making the effort!!!!

How much money was raised for RCTB?

90 percent of all registration fees go to the cash prizes. 10 percent goes to reclam the bay. We had just under 100 people fish this year's tournament. We also took up a collection at the fish fry from the 7 people that attended. Good folks like USMC1 came and dropped a nice chunk of change in the can because he realizes that the money goes to a great cause.
The majority of printing costs including posters, forms, giant wooden sea robin signs, paint, etc. plus time, flag prizes and all the fish and food for the fish fry are donated free by garbagefish.com.

Thanks Brian, had a great time at the fish fry and a lot of fun in the tournament. I will try harder next year.

hey brian i havent been on here in a while but i wanted to say the tourney was a lot of fun, and i really enjoyed it, especially since i got seconnd place in the sea robin division. cant wait until next year
