I had the Mitchell Party out on Wednesday. Due to the rough seas and poor ocean reports. We decided to stay inside and were rewarded with some good fishing! We were drifting spot on the outgoing tide and had 14 bass with 5 keepers mixed in. The guys showed they could fish only dropped one or two fish.
Thanksgiving I had my father and cousins out but with the poor conditions we only caught 1 bass before we called it a day.
Friday was redemption for a charter I had out in the spring where we only caught 1 bass. It was a beautiful day and it was all action and caught 18 bass all shorts and lost about 4 more. In the afternoon my brother, my son and I went out with the last of the bait and caught 5 more on the incoming before dark.

We may not be having the wide open jig bite we had last year and I believe at some point it may come around but by not driving by fish to look for fish we are putting together some pretty good catches and having a ton of fun!
