Believe it or not it looks like we dodged a bullet! With Joaquin on a track not to make landfall anywhere on the east coast we can have a sigh of relief. Our beaches are taken some what of a beating never the less with all these strong NE winds and higher tides but no where near the damage we would have experienced if the storm had made landfall in or near our area. The long range forecast is for sunny skies and temperatures in the 70's. While we wait for better fishing conditions this is a great time to go over our gear in anticipation of the fall run.
