We had the new ride out this morning to see how she rode and to get her christened with blood, scales, and other nasty stuff. Capt. Alex joined me on the maiden voyage.

While it wasn't a slaughter, we did nail a bunch of flatties fishing in the fleet N of the BI before heading off to DCC to look for other critters. Only one serious knockdown over there (which I missed undoubtedly due to winter rust). We also had a couple of serious boils alongside the boat, so things seem ripe to truly explode on the bay scene over the next day or so.

Catch 'em up.

Glad the maiden voyage went well.
I probably saw you out by the BI.
But, looking out by living room window I couldn't tell which one of the 40+ boats you were!!!!

I'm just about ready with my boat to go chasing those striped things!!

No blood for me yesterday. Just a shakedown cruise. Trolled some plugs W of the BI and caught the skunk. Things started picking up once my wife came down with the subs, which we consumed at Tices.

Glad your maiden voyage turned out well! It shouldn't be long now for the bay to turn on!
