Hey Joe, I tried to call but got the answering maching. My 2004 225 DI activated a "No Oil" alarm today 25 miles offshore. I shut her down and limped back at 7mph on the other engine. My oil tank is 1/2 to 3/4 full and it has been using the normal amount of oil. I am past my original evinrude warranty and am now on the extended (I paid for the 7yr)warranty. Can I run the boat over on my one engine and have the codes pulled and how much would that cost me (Warranty???). Thanks Joe. Dave 732-673-8545. Call anytime.

Sorry for not getting the message until today Dave. I guess if I don't check that often the topic gets overwritten by the new ones. Sometimes it is a day or two before I get to see what is happening on this board. For immediate assistance, call the marina and tell the secretasry you need to speak with me and they will get in touchh with me right away.
I hear you did bring the boat down. Thanks for the patronage. We will get it squared away as quickly as possible. Thanks again.

Hey Joe, I sent you a PM just now but I'll repeat it here. I think it was Dennis who called me at around noon and said it was the oil pump that needs to be replaced. My wife dropped off the warranty cards at round 1230 and somebody in the shop made copies. I know sometimes the warranty companies want to be notified of the repairs before hand or they won't pay and as of 445 pm this evening they haven't been notified. I know you guys know what your doing and deal with these companies all the time but I would just hate to be billed due to a misunderstanding with the company. Thanks, sorry for bothering you here. Dave

Not a problem Dave.....glad Brian was able to find the problem quickly. Now it's just a matter of getting you back in the water just as fast. As far as the warranty.....yes, we do deal with that. Hopefully the part is readily available. Take care.
