Fred, I have a question. I bought a conditioner and filter from Culligan >20 years ago. They said that the filter took "crushed Georgia marble". Is that there way of charging 10X as much for filter sand? How can I see if my conditioner is still doing his thing..... we haven't had an iron problem since.
when you get a minute.

PuddlePirate the crushed georgia marble is to raise the pH of your water, sand will only filter the water. To check for iron in the treated water take a glass of water from the sink and put in microwave oven for one minute on high. If the water stays clear you our ok. Give me a call and I would be happy to come out and check everything for you.

PuddlePirate we use food grade calcite and works very good at raising the pH. Do you do the service yourself or will you need us to do it? The price of the cslcite is $50.00 a bag but you get 10% off that and if you are in Barnegat I would be happy to drop some off for you. Let me know.

Thanks Fred. I am local and I think I know where you are so I'll try to swing by. Are you on route 9 just south of the pebble beach plaza, west side?

I'll buy it from you!
