Guys, I am planning on fishing a spot that I have never fished before. Got some reliable numbers 20 miles or so off that I want to give a shot. If it doesn't work out, we will be near enough to spots that have produced a decent blackfish bite the last few weekends.

I would like to make this run next Friday. Send me a PM if you are interested. $85 bucks a guy and we'll put in a full day with clams and crabs. 7:00am to 4:00pm or so. Had to shorten the day due to dinner plans.

Weather looks fishable early Friday.

When asked where did we catch the fish, it's always in the same place, the lip.....

Tough trip. Goal today was to fish many spots. First wreck in 90 feet of water had life, and we put 4 keepers in the boat all around 3-4 pounds. That bite shut right off as soon as the wind picked up out of the south.

Tried garden state north and it was void of life. Not even bergal bites on clam. Headed back out to 87 feet and pulled two more keepers off that spot.

Fourth spot of the day in 85 feet of water produced a zero. We read fish on all drops, but you have to be out in 85-90 feet plus right now.

The sinkers were ice cold when they came up.
