Thanks for the welcome
If anyone needs bottom paint removal because of years of buildup or paint failure, I can remove it from most boats in one day. Soda blasting leaves a great finish for new paint application.
Any questions ask away, or give a call 800-901-GALE(4253)

Yes aluminum is OK,
As long as there are not any crazy primers or odd paint combos, the finish you are left with would be good for new paint application.

old Starcraft hulls 12' and 16'. want them striped (etched) for fresh paint. might put something real good on them. trailered only. would be a winter prodject. guttum, flip over and do it right. both have original green paint. 16' overcoated once in white paint. could they be safely sandblasted?

They could be safely sandblasted, but I only use soda(baking soda/sodium bicarb) it will do a great job on those hulls. when you are ready give me a call @ 800-901-4253

Topaz24,When soda blasting a bottom of a fiberglass boat does this also remove the previous "barrier coating" that was applied to the bottom......Was curious because I had my boat blasted about 10 years ago and then barrier coated..but always used ablative paints.....
