Description

Hey Guys,

Wondering if anyone can determine which type of fish is in the photo and attached video link. Friends of ours filmed while walking down the beach in Casamelle, Mexico.

Any information would be appreciated.

Swordfish or Striped Marlin - you can see their bills come out a few times

Could be big Manta Rays with their wing tips out of the water.

Looks like tarpon feeding in the flats to me. that "bill" is attached to the dorsal. a quick google image "tarpon" should help.

school of big jacks, see them all the time in Mexico in the surf, they can actually raise their dorsals pretty high..
