It couldn't have ended any better. Crew bailed, Solo trip turned into a father/son trip. Broke the ice on the lagoon, to the bay being flat , broke BI around 8 am, headed north, first hookup 9:15, a nice 33" (white maja #4 spoon) sons first of the year being he doesn't get out much (work/girlfriend thing). Fished till 11:30, no other takers but thats ok just a day out with my boy and a bass was enough. Pulled the boat, got her all cleaned up winterized and put to sleep till spring.
